Yesterday I ran the Loch Ness Marathon in 4 hours 23 minutes and 27 seconds. Today I am in utter agony but am still smiling like an idiot. Many thanks to all of you who sponsored me. To date, I’ve raised almost £2,700 for Cancer Research UK. My mum would have been delighted. xxx

Four months after discovering she had a brain tumour, my mum died on Saturday afternoon. It’s been and it continues to be a terribly difficult time but I’d like to thank you all of you who left kind comments and sent well wishes during this time. They helped.
